Washing Your Car The Right Way




We all know that washing your car is great to have a car as clean as a whistle. But did you know that there are ways to wash your car so that there isn't any damage to the exterior. Here is a list of washing your car the right way.

-Frequently Washing your car can maintain your car and preserve its shape.

-Not washing it often or carelessly washing it can worsen the condition of the paint.

- Don't let the dirt, droppings, dead bugs or other contaminants build up on the paint surface. Give your car a rinse every so often.

- Rinse of your car after a period of rainy weather (if area has acid rain.) This can leave permanent marks on your cars paint.

- Wash your car first thing in the morning or in a shady cool place. You want to wash your vehicle when the surface is cool.

- Pre-Rinse your vehicle to get off the extra loose debris to prevent scratches on the surface.

- Do not use household detergents to wash your car. This will strip the protective wax coating and may dull your paints finish. Always use a car wash soap formula.

- Wash and rinse your car in sections. This helps prevent the soap from drying while you are going around soaping it up.

- Use a large sponge and/or a lambs-wool mitt. Using these will prevent hair line scratches on your cars surface.

- Use a separate bucket for suds an rinse water. This keeps dirt from getting mixed in the suds bucket.

These tips will keep your cars exterior protected and always looking good.
